Participation in Essay Writing (B.Ed Sem-1)


              2016- Journey of Essay Writing

  This year 2016 I feel that it is the year of Essay writing for me. From the very childhood I like to write new things. But I write in Gujarati. Knowledge of English is less in comparison to Gujarati. Then I started most of writing in English. In College level (Parekh College, Mahuva) I choose main subject English. Then I have completed my Master Degree in English at Dept. of English. It was the place where I got sharp writing skill. It is the tradition of Dept. that all the students have to complete online tasks. It is the uniqueness of Dept. and students share new thoughts, strong arguments, performs different roles. So it goes for creativity.

Destination of Essay Writing:

  In September, 2016 I participated in Essay Competition. Shree Radheshyam B.Ed College gave me a chance to go there. That time Youth Festival arranged by Belur Vidhyalaya, it was the Taluka level. Before one day they gave the topic of essay. There were 3 subjects of essay. One was about “Protection of Environment & Dharmik Celebration”, second was about “GST (Goods & Service Tax)” and third was about “Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam” (Whole world is one single family).

Description of Writing:

I wrote Vasudhaiv Kubumbakam for essay writing in Gujarati. Main points, quoatations (in Gujarati, Hindi & English), thoughts of great persons in context of present situation, and these all things are necessary in essay. Like –
§  This word comes from Hindu book Maha Upanishad.
§  Living being of all the things of the world
§  Trees are the best and true friends.
§  Oneness, togetherness, pity, politeness- Message of  Hindu Philosophy
§  Impact of it in India by other Countries
§  Present conflicts- War, corruption, disconcerting, division of states, inequality, caste
§  Boarder of different states obstructive  for Man but Birds don’t have to follow this kind of rules- So live as natural way
§  Role of Freedom fighters

          Quote of Swami Vivekananda:

“All differences in this world are of degree,
Are not of kind, because oneness is
the secret of everything.”

One other context:
  Philosophy related to Humanity in  Africa named “Ubuntu”-

                                  “A person is a person through other people.”

Conclusion-

Message of Atharvaveda:

                   “The whole world lives as one single unit like a nest.”


                 





                Experience of Youth Festival of MKBU

   Youth Festival started on 20th October, 2016. It was the 3 days programme. Many activities selected for it. Like Singing, Dancing, Writing, Acting, Quiz competitions etc. Many guests were invited in it. So many participants/students participated in it.  In this essay competition they gave on the spot topic. There were 5 topics. About Education, Effect mother tongue in Future, Global Politics & Thoughts of Gandhi, Modern Gadgets  & Creativity: Complementary or Opposite? I wrote about Modern Gadgets & Creativity.

Overview of Essay writing:

 Modern Gadgets & Creativity: Complementary or Opposite?

  First of all I confused then I started essay with earlier time and present time. I built preface of essay. How modern tools are connected with creativity? It was the main focus of the essay. Earlier time people have no facilities of electricity. At that time for reading people used to street light. Now people have all the electronic instruments.

  21st century is the age of Modern Technology. We can easily observe the persons of societies. If you compare any uneducated person or educate person you can’t find any difference. Because both have same tools like mobile. Other example is students of village or city. Both students use laptops for their bright future. It goes for creativity.

Example:

   Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam, Vikram Sarabhai, Sunita Williams and many great writers or scientist…

   Use of Internet is the main necessity of today’s people. Use of different websites (surfing), Online tasks, Blogs, Slideshare, Wordle, Power point Presentations people creates difference between them and other person. Through mobile phone one person connected to another person. They doing communication and it also go for creativity.

  One most important point is Technology can’t create partiality. Most of competitive papers or educational papers check by computer. Questions of any examination asked as a type optional (OMR). So students can prove themselves. Earlier time people don’t have opportunity to publish their writing (column, poems, essays, advertisement etc…) in press. Now space of press taken by Blogs. It gives freedom to any person to share their powerful thinking.    
                                
 According to my point of view,

                                              “Literature is the mirror of society.”
 Same quote we can apply here that,

                                               “Modern gadgets are mirror of creativity.”

  We all know that we cannot make poets but they are God-gifted. Same thought we can connect here that if you give any example of person, they have always any one or more abilities. Modern instruments are giving more opportunity to develop them. It is psychological reason that any children watch cartoon or videogames then they can grow more intelligent. So, these all things are go to television. Culture, ethics, politics, literature, entertainment all are connected to creativity.

Conclusion:

     If we use more and more technology then we can achieve high goal. We reached to highest level of creativity. So I totally believe that modern gadgets and creativity totally complementary.

  Writing is our personality. My personality also connected with my writing, thoughts, uniqueness… My smart work proves that I will achieve high goal in my life. I got 2nd rank in 26th Youth Festival. My parents, brother & Sister support me; love me, and taking care of me a lot. All the teachers also give me best guidance for teaching and co-curricular activities. So many things I learnt from my friends and family members also.

          Saat Pagla Aakaskma  is a novel written by Kundanika Kapadia. In this novel central character is Vasudha. Beginning to end there is a Vasudha’s journey of life, and she generalize the whole life of woman. Vasudha get married with Vyomesh and their marriage life beguns. Second Teaching Method of B.Ed: Bridge Lesson

Bridge Lesson   Generally, we think that process of teaching is very easy. But it covers so many things and step by step we have to follow it. In  video games  there are levels to win the game. Same type of levels we can see in B.Ed. First step of teaching is Micro-teaching and second step is Bridge-lesson.   Bridge lesson it means all the skills are jointed. It is one type of pool or one type of chains. One chain connected with another chain and it’s make long bridge. Ratio of students is 15 to 17 and 15 to 20 minutes trainee-teacher has to teach. It is one type of practice so within the students we have to do it. According to “Lesson-Plan” (Paath-Ayojan) we have to teach.
